The merger closed in 2008. It is an energy infrastructure and pipeline construction company active in Kentucky and West Virginia.

Energy Services acquired GasSearch Drilling Services Corporation in January, 2008 for $23.5 million is stock and cash.
Through its S T Pipeline acquisition, ESA built the Big Sandy Pipeline in Kentucky for EQT Corporation. The 70 mile line was officially opened in April, 2009.
