Rouyn-Noranda, Quebec, Canada-based X-Terra Resources Corp (XT-TSXV) is an oil and gas exploration and production junior that is active in the Utica shale play. It has three Utica shale projects going:

  • Project Rimouski - 113,668 acre natural gas permit in the Saint Lawrence Lowlands wholly owned by the company. It was in the process of undergoing a geophysical aerial survey in February, 2010.
  • Project Rimouski North - 74,131 acre natural gas permit similar to Project Rimouski. It was also 100% owned by the company and in the process of being being aerially surveyed.
  • Project Shawi - a third 100%-owned, 74,131 acre natural gas permit in the Lowlands.

X-Terra's total permitted acreage in the St. Lawrence Lowlands for all three projects amounted to 261,930 acres.

  • Sébastien Plouff is Vice President.
  • Sylvain Champagne is CFO.
