Dallas, Texas-based Little Pine Resources is actively leasing Marcellus shale acreage in central and northeastern Pennsylvania.

A December, 2008 report indicated the company was leasing in Clearfield County, PA, and it hac opened an office there.

There was an October, 2009 sighting of Little Pine's landmen seeking to sign landowners in the Bradford Township/Bigler area of Clearfield Co. for seismic testing leases."
