Velma, Oklahoma-based Dunn’s Tank Service is a provider of oil and gas field and long haul trucking. In June, 2009, the company was in the news in Bradford County, Pennsylvania where it opened a local branch office in Towanda on Main St. in the Hugo insurance building. It also hired ten local employees presumably because of its involvement in the heightened drilling activity in the area's Marcellus shale formation.

In late October, 2009 a mix-up was reported in a news article regarding the improper storing of drilling waste water in tanker trailers that had been awaiting transport to a waste water treatment facility. The company office in Towanda had been fined by DEP. A company official stated that it had recently moved to the area from out-of-state, and the company's employees never realized that they had been violating the Pennsylvania code.
