Vancouver, British Columbia-based Altima Resources Ltd (TSX Venture: ARH) is a junior oil and gas exploration and production company primarily known for drilling in Western Canada. In February, 2010 the company was reported to have acquired Unbridled Energy Corp. The latter company owns a leasehold of 30,000 acres in northeastern Pennsylvania prospective for natural gas from the Marcellus shale formation.
