The Saint Lawrence Lowlands are a broad stretch of land that sits between Montreal and Quebec City in the Province of Quebec, Canada. Most of the gas exploration taking place in the Lowlands is on the south side of the St. Lawrence River. The development area extends along the river to the northeast of Montreal.
