Centennial, Colorado-based Running Foxes Petroleum made a losing bid for development rights to the Borough of Ebensburg, Pennsylvania's 1300 acres that were up for bid in August, 2008. GFI Oil & Gas had the winning bid, but later failed to make a scheduled payment for the lease.

Dennis Mann is a spokesman for Running Foxes.
