Mayfield Village, Ohio-based Stryker Energy LLC is a privately-held oil and gas exploration and production company. It was started in 2004 by long-time industry veteran Garry Regan who also founded North Coast Energy (now owned by EXCO Resources). It had drilled or participated in drilling 185 wells in Pennsylvania and New York and was in the process of expanding its exploration in Ohio.
