Warrendale, Pennsylvania-based PC Exploration was reported to have drilled two Marcellus shale wells in Belmont County, Ohio which is located directly west of Wheeling, West Virginia across the Ohio River.

A June, 2009 report found PC leasing in Monroe County, OH in Clarington right along side the Ohio River on Route 7 North of the Ormet Aluminum Plant.

A news account in July, 2010 found PC Exploration operating three natgas wells on the Elwood farm near Saltburg, Indiana County, PA. These were probably in a shallow formation.

PC Exploration is believed to be either subsidiary or else closely affiliated with Phillips Resources, Inc since both companies share the same address and phone number.
