Kansas City, MO-based Inergy LP (NASDAQ: NRGY) is a large propane marketing and distribution company serving customers in the mid-West and East Coast of the United States. Among other related activities, Inergy operates a natural gas storage business that has been mentioned as favorably positioned in Pennsylvania and New York for storing gas coming from the Marcellus shale formation.

In August, 2008 Inergy Midstream, LLC, a 100% owned subsidiary of Inergy LP, was in the process of developing the 43 mile Marc I Hub Line in Bradford County, PA.

John Sherman is Inergy's President and CEO.
