Lufkin, Texas-based NASDAQ GS (NASDAQ GS: LUFK) is a supplier of oil field equipment and power transmission products. It was announced in March, 2009 that it had acquired International Lift Systems LLC (ILS), a supplier of gas lift systems.

A July, 2009 update from the company indicated that it will be pursuing business opportunities in Marcellus shale development through its ILS acquisition.
