Addison, TX-based J-W Operating Company is an energy service and development company. Through its subsidiary, J-W Wireline Company, it is a provider of cased-hole logging services used in the oil and gas industry.

J-W Wireline has a district office in North-central Pennsylvania's Jefferson County in the Borough of Brockway to serve the Marcellus shale area.
