In February, 2009, Indiana, PA-based Superior Well Services, Inc. was in the process of setting up a service center in the renovated Owego & Harford rail yard in Owego, New York near Binghampton. The center will serve energy companies developing the Marcellus shale. Typical activities Superior does in support of natural gas drillers are casing well borings and stimulating well production through hydro-fracturing.

David Wallace is the Chairman and CEO of Superior.

Don Blankenship is Operations Manager of the Binghampton center.
