Susquehanna River Basin Commission

The Susquehanna River Basin Commission regulates water withdrawals from the basin. Companies wishing to withdraw water from sources in the Basin must apply for permission from the Commission. As of September, 2008 eight companies had been approved to withdraw 41 million gallons daily.
