New York-based Delphi Midstream Partners, LLC (DMP) is an investment company that buys midstream energy companies and assets. In an October, 2009 press release it was announcd that DMP had purchased a gas gathering and compression facility in the Barnett shale belonging to Carrizo Oil and Gas. At the same time, Delphi acquired the right to invest up to $100 million in midstream infrastructure and assets as part of Carrizo's Marcellus shale development plan in northeastern Pennsylvania.
Delphi is the parent company of Laser Northeast Gathering Company LLC which is also involved in building pipelines in northeastern Pennsylvania.
