Arbor Resources of Michigan was reported in September, 2008 planning to drill in Nockamixon, Pennsylvania. This location is not in the Marcellus shale. Terry Beia is a contact with Arbor Resources.

As of September, 2008 permits from the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection were obtained to drill on two properties in Nockamixon.
