A natural gas processing plant frequently refers to a cryogenic processing plant. It is a type of facility or station used often in northwestern West Virginia or southwestern Pennsylvania, areas where natural gas is laden with heavier hydrocarbons, to take out water vapor and natural gas liquids before methane is flowed into transmission lines.
