Calgary, Alberta-based Trican Well Service Ltd (TSX:TCW) is a provider of pressure pumping service. In July, 2010 the company announced that it had signed a two-year deal to provide fracturing services for a major U.S. customer in the Marcellus shale region.

The company planned to introduce its EcoClean fracturing fluid technology in environmentally sensitive parts of the basin.
