Houston, Texas-based GlobaLogix is a gas and oilfield automation and data services company. The company provides data measurement and collection at the well head that can be transferred to gas company back office software for data analysis and decision making. GlobaLogix provides a complete system that encompasses both programmed logic controllers or remote terminal units at the well site and including the computer systems that monitor the entire process.
An early July, 2010 press release announced GlobaLogix had opened an office in Canonsburg, PA to provide support for gas exporation and production companies operating in the Marcellus shale. The facility was to have a multi-bay shop to provide field support for controls and automation the company offers. The office was also to house personnel involved in network design, system engineering and programming.
