Questerre Energy Corporation (TSX:QEC) (OSLO:QEC) is a Calgary, Alberta-based independent exploration company which is participating in a farm-in agreement with Talisman Energy Inc., the well operators, to drill three wells in the St. Lawrence Lowlands, Quebec, Canada. The wells will test multiple horizons including the Trenton-Black River and the Utica and Lorraine shale formations. As of September 2008, it is reported that the first of these three wells has been spudded.
