FracFocus Chemical Disclosure Registry is a joint venture of the Ground Water Protection Council and the Interstate Oil and Gas Compact Commission to produce a web site for drilling companies to voluntarily, self-report and register the chemicals they use in hydro-fracturing.
The web site accesses an extensive database of chemicals self-reported by well number and location. It also has an educational mission to better inform the public about hydro-fracturing and groundwater protection.
