Ellenboro, West Virginia-based Hall Drilling, LLC is a natural gas drilling company that has a leasing partnership with Bluestone Energy Partners.

A news item appeared in June, 2010 regarding a Marcellus shale lease that Hall Drilling was in the process of negotiating with the City of Salem in Harrison County, WV. The property involved was a 78 acre parcel used for a recreation area at Upper Dog Run Lake. It was also located in the Lower Dog Run watershed which is the source for Salem's drinking water supply. Hall was proposing to drill a horizontal well on the back side of a ridge and its lateral was to pass under the lake bed.
