The Marcellus Shale Coalition (MSC), formerly known as the Marcellus Shale Committee, is made up of over forty natural gas exploration and production companies with an interest in Marcellus shale development in Pennsylvania. It has even a larger number of assoicate and non-profit members. MSC is jointly sponsored by the Pennsylvania Oil and Gas Association and the Independent Oil and Gas Association of Pennsylvania.
