Brecksville, Ohio AB Resources LLC is a privately-held, oil and gas exploration and production company focusing on Appalachian Basin exploration with over 700 wells in Ohio, Pennsylvania and West Virginia. 550 are producing. According to its web site, accessed in May, 2009 the company owns drilling rights to in excess of 90,000 acres prospective for Marcellus shale.
In March, 2009 AB was reported to be actively drilling in Marshall County in West Virginia's Northern Panhandle.
A news item appeared a year later in March, 2010 indicating that AB Resources was in the process of negotiating a lease with the New Vrindaban Hare Krishna Community in Marshall County, WV. The terms were $2,500/acre with a 18.75% royalty on production. 4,000 acres were to be leased.
