Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Unit Corporation (NYSE: UNT) is a diversified oil and natural gas exploration and production company. It is also involved through subsidiaries in contract drilling and mid-stream gathering pipeline systems and natural gas processing.
Through Superior Appalachian, a division of its Superior Pipeline subsidiary, Unit develops gas pipeline infrastructure in Central Pennsylvania. It is jointly developing these mid-stream pipeline projects with Appalachian Producer Services. Superior Pipeline has a business development office in Pittsburgh, PA.
