Mooncor Oil & Gas Corp. (TSX: V.MOO) is a a junior oil and gas exploration and development company. It was reported to be actively leasing in southwest Ontario and to have an initial 3,000 acre leasehold in the area. This region is considered to be part of the St. Lawrence lowlands. It is primarily focusing on shale gas projects.

A further report indicates that it is planning to spud a well in the 4th quarter of 2008 in Norfolk County, Ontario targeting the Trenton-Black River formation.
