Arlington, Texas-based LLAMA Horizontal Drilling Technologies, Inc. (aka LLAMA Gas and Lowry Lease Mineral Acquisitions) is a privately-held oil and gas exploration and development company that is developing a block of Marcellus shale leases.

LLAMA's leasing activities have been focusing on Broome County, New York and Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. They were very active leasing during 2008 from landholders with frontage on Oquaga Lake near Deposit in Broome County. They have been known to make offers on very small parcels of lakefront property from owners with as little as 1/2 acre.

In November, 2009 LLAMA was reported controlling leases to the acreage of about 600 landowners in Broome Co. The company planned to sell these drilling rights amounting to 9,859 acres on behalf of the landowners.
