Charleston, West Virginia-based Charles Ryan Associates (aka CRA) is an integrated communications firm and one of the largest public relations (PR) companies in the region. It also has offices in Morgentown and Richmond, Virginia.

Among other energy companies, it has done PR work in the past for Chesapeake Energy.

Charles Ryan Associates was acquired by an investment group headed by Triana Energy in September, 2007.

The company has offices in Charleston, WV and Richmond, VA.
